Our Breads

Our sourdough bread is a labour of love. We combine a slow fermentation process (12-36 hours) with high levels of hydration (80%+) to produce nourishing loaves that are scrumptious AND ultra-digestible.

How To Store Your Bread  

Not sure if you will eat two loaves quickly enough?

Store for days: Cover in a cloth and keep it in a dry place
Store for weeks: In the freezer, wrapped in plastic film (or cut in smaller portions)

*Never store in the refrigerator; it will accelerate the staling process.

 

Classic Country Loaf

Our Classic Country Loaf is a fan favourite amongst customers at our bakery. This nutritious, naturally leavened sourdough is naturally sweet with a bit of earth and a touch of tang. With a soft and tender crumb, it’s an elevated take on your everyday sourdough.

Ingredients: Organic sifted wheat flour, sifted wheat flour, organic light spelt flour, organic dark rye flour, malt powder, water, salt, natural levain (flour, water)

Super Seeded Loaf

This is our sourdough country loaf coated with 8 seed varieties giving it a crunchy & flavourful crust while encapsulating a soft & tender crumb.

Ingredients: Organic sifted wheat flour, sifted wheat flour, organic light spelt flour, organic dark rye flour, malt powder, water, salt, seeds (sesame, black sesame, poppy, flax, sunflower, pumpkin, millet), natural levain (flour, water)

Silhouette Pan Loaf

The Silhouette Pan Loaf shares a recipe with our Classic Country Loaf, but with sandwiches and hearty toasts in mind. Substantial, yet it won’t weigh you down — this loaf is not entirely whole wheat nor entirely white. Like all of our breads, the high-hydration dough means it stays fresh for days.

Multigrain Porridge Pan Loaf

Our Multigrain Porridge Bread is our signature pan loaf. Packed with good-for-you grains (black rice, red rice, brown rice, buckwheat and barley, and mixed seeds), yet surprisingly soft and tender. It’s friendly to the digestive system due to it's high moisture content and slow fermentation. It’s flavour is rich and complex with a nuttiness, subtle sweetness and mild tangy finish.
